The A494 is closed in both directions between Llanuwchllyn and Rhydymain following a crash, Traffic Wales says. The trunk-road alert lists local diversions in place. It gives a start date of Thursday 15 October and an end date of Friday 16 October, but does not specify a reopening time. The end-date field should not be treated as a confirmed clearance. Drivers should check the live Traffic Wales alert before setting out and follow the signed local diversion. The notice does not name a diversion route or give an estimated journey delay.
