St Fagans will host the national launch of Black History Cymru 365 on Thursday 24 September, with an event celebrating Black history, heritage and communities across Wales.

When and where

Race Council Cymru lists the event at St Fagans Atrium, Cardiff, CF5 6XB, from 10am to 3pm. Its Eventbrite listing offers free tickets. Anyone planning to attend can check the organiser’s booking page for current availability before travelling.

Proud to Be Me

The launch opens the 2026 programme under the theme Proud to Be Me. The organiser says it brings together people of all ages, community groups, creatives and organisations around heritage, identity and belonging. The programme’s focus is year-round Black history, rather than a single month of activity.

The published event page confirms the date, venue and five-hour window but does not set out a running order. Race Council Cymru lists 0330 229 0995 for enquiries, including practical questions that are not answered on the booking page.
