Cian Ashford earns first senior Wales call-up as 20 Bluebirds go international
Cian Ashford has received his first senior Wales call-up, joining Cardiff City team-mate Joel Colwill for four UEFA Nations League fixtures over the next fortnight. Ashford and Colwill are among 20 Bluebirds named in senior or age-grade international squads.

Ashford and Colwill with Wales
Wales visit Portugal on Thursday 24 September and Denmark on Sunday 27 September before home games against Norway on Thursday 1 October and Denmark on Sunday 4 October. Craig Bellamy's side reached League A after winning Group B4 in the previous Nations League campaign.
Bagan and Moylan in Republic of Ireland squad
Joel Bagan and Jack Moylan have been selected for the Republic of Ireland's League B fixtures. Bagan is waiting for a senior debut after injury ruled him out of the summer window, while Moylan scored a hat-trick against Grenada during that period. Ireland face Kosovo and Israel away before home-designated fixtures against Austria and Israel, with both Israel matches scheduled at neutral venues.
Six Bluebirds in Wales Under-21 squad
Luke Armstrong, Dakarai Mafico, Noah Anyadike, Robert Tankiewicz, Ronan Kpakio and Tanatswa Nyakuhwa have been called up by Wales Under-21s. The side end the Wales Under-21 European qualifying group away to Belgium on Monday 28 September and at home to Austria in Caernarfon on Tuesday 6 October. Wales have six points from six games; Belgium and Austria each have 10.
Ten more across the younger age groups
Paul Moreno, Noah Williams, Jack Sykes and Hayden Allmark are in the Wales Under-19 squad for fixtures against the United States, Norway and Northern Ireland in Marbella. Alex Cross, Charlie Bell, Keano Conaty, Logan Cartwright, Jacob Norris and Leo Papirnyk are with Wales Under-18s for two friendlies against Finland.

Cardiff's 20 selections comprise four senior internationals and 16 players across the Wales Under-21, Under-19 and Under-18 squads. The Under-21 group is the largest single Cardiff contingent, with six players, matched by six in the Under-18 squad.
