Music and food after hours

Visit Cardiff lists DJ sets and live performances for the night-market programme, with a balcony stage overlooking the market floor. Announced performers include Ifan, Pypi Slysh and the John Mouse Multiverse; the listing does not allocate each act to a particular evening. Food traders advertised for the event include Dirty Gnocchi, Bao Selecta, Patagonia, The Bearded Taco and Ffwrnes. The music event is free; that does not mean food and drink are included. The evening opening extends beyond the market’s usual 5pm closing time. The programme began on Thursday 15 October and was announced earlier this month, rather than being a new festival launch today.

Planning a visit

Cardiff Market is in the city centre, with its St Mary Street address listed as CF10 1AU by Visit Cardiff. Its event page describes the free evenings as being for families, visitors and festivalgoers. Visit Cardiff’s usual toilet listing records an accessible toilet at the market, but gives daytime opening hours only. Those hours do not establish evening toilet availability or access to the balcony stage. Anyone whose visit depends on those arrangements should confirm them before travelling. The event listing and market visitor information are linked below.
