Free student injury clinics returning to Carmarthen campus

Free student-led injury clinics are due to return to the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s Carmarthen campus in October, with members of the public invited to book alongside staff and students. UWTSD says Sport and Exercise Therapy students deliver the sessions under the supervision of qualified tutors. The university’s announcement on 21 October gives weekly injury-clinic times but does not state the exact restart date.
Which sessions are advertised?
Sports injury clinics are listed for Mondays from noon to 1pm and Thursdays from 3pm to 5pm. The university says the clinics offer injury assessment as well as soft tissue massage. The date for soft tissue massage remains to be confirmed. The published times should not be read as confirmation that a particular appointment is available.
How to book
Campus gym members can use the GloFox app. Other members of the public can request an appointment by emailing sian.bowen@uwtsd.ac.uk. All sessions are free of charge, according to UWTSD. Confirm the appointment and session details before travelling; the announcement does not give a treatment-room location.
