Young people aged 15 to 24 can get advice on work, training, housing and wellbeing at a Conwy council event at Coleg Llandrillo on Wednesday 21 October. Future Booster runs from 10am to 4pm, and the council says visitors can drop in at any time.

Several services in one place

Staff from the council’s Youth, Engagement and Belonging Service will explain support around youth homelessness, post-16 options and wellbeing. The service also works with young people who are not in education, employment or training.

Courses, apprenticeships and support

Coleg Llandrillo, Careers Wales, COPA training and Conwy Employment Hub are due to provide information on college courses, jobs, apprenticeships and training. Other listed exhibitors include Barnardos, Conwy Connect, North Wales Police and Wynne Construction.

Before visiting

Refreshments will be available. The event offers information and advice rather than a guaranteed job, course place or housing offer. The council’s announcement links to its youth service for further information.
