Price and Clayton start on Saturday

Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton remain in the draw and are scheduled to enter in the second round on Saturday 17 October. Neither had played a match in this tournament when the result was checked. The Welsh players’ opponents were still unfilled in the PDC’s last-32 record, with the relevant first-round matches to be completed. The tournament runs through Sunday 18 October. This is the final European Tour event of the season. The PDC says the top 32 in the European Tour rankings qualify for the European Championship, giving the Maastricht weekend a wider qualification context. Kenny’s defeat is a confirmed result; it does not establish a qualification outcome for either Welsh seed.
