Kenny books Dutch Darts Championship place with three qualifying wins
Nick Kenny secured a place at the Dutch Darts Championship by winning three matches in European Tour qualifying in Den Bosch on Thursday 24 September.

Kenny beat Ian White 6–0, Peter Wright 6–1 and Brendan Dolan 6–2 to come through his section of the Tour Card Holder Qualifier. Across the three matches, he won 18 legs and lost three.
Three higher-ranked opponents beaten
The PDC tournament record lists Kenny 65th, compared with White in 58th, Wright in 37th and Dolan in 49th. All three opponents were higher in the rankings supplied with the qualifying draw.
Owen and Griffin go out
Rob Owen lost 6–5 to Tyler Thorpe in the last 80. Rhys Griffin also went out in that round, losing 6–4 to Benjamin Pratnemer. Kenny was the only one of the three Welsh entrants to progress through qualifying.
What Kenny has qualified for
The Dutch Darts Championship takes place in Maastricht from 16 to 18 October. The PDC says ten places in the 48-player field come from this Tour Card Holder Qualifier, whose final stage is the last 20.
Those ten qualifiers enter the first round. The 16 seeds from the PDC World Rankings join in the last 32. Kenny’s qualifying wins secure a place in the event; they are not a tournament title.
