Llanidloes chocolate festival returns on Saturday

The Chocolate Festival of Wales returns to Llanidloes on Saturday 24 October, with free entry to the festival and events across the town. The indoor chocolate market runs from 10am to 4pm at Minerva Arts Centre, 2 High Street, Llanidloes, SY18 6BY. Visit Wales independently lists the same date, venue and market hours.
What visitors can expect
The organiser’s programme includes a Calm Cocoa hot-chocolate popup at The Wild Oak Cafe, hosted chocolate conversations, a family screening of Wonka and activities at other venues. Participating businesses will also offer chocolate-themed food and drinks. The event is run on behalf of Llanidloes Chamber of Trade. Visitors can collect a map and programme from the Chocolate Information Bureau at Minerva Arts Centre. The festival website describes most activities as free. That does not mean every workshop, screening, food item or drink is included: check the individual programme entries for charges and booking conditions before travelling. The market’s 4pm finish is separate from other activities happening around the town.
