Four new starters in Ospreys side for Sharks opener

Ospreys have named four new faces in the starting side for the United Rugby Championship opener against Sharks in Durban. Kick-off at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium is 3pm UK time on Saturday 26 September.

Lawson Creighton makes his debut at fly-half alongside Luke Davies at scrum-half. Liam Wright also debuts, starting at blindside flanker in a back row completed by Ross Moriarty and Morgan Morris.

Lalakai Foketi gets his first start at inside centre alongside Owen Watkin, while Tom Rogers is the fourth new face in the starting line-up on the wing. Luke Morgan starts on the other wing and Iestyn Hopkins is at full-back.

Parry and Watkin share the captaincy

Sam Parry and Watkin are co-captains. Parry starts at hooker between Steffan Thomas and Tom Botha, with James Ratti and Rhys Davies in the second row.

Harri Wilde could make his first appearance since joining on loan from Cardiff if used from the bench. Kieran Hardy is the replacement scrum-half, with Evardi Boshoff also among the eight substitutes. The confirmed Ospreys selection accompanies this report.
