Where to gather and what happens next

Residents of all ages are invited to attend alongside community and military organisations. The event is being held in partnership with Pontypridd Town Council. The service will be led by the Reverend Charlotte Rushton of St Catherine’s Church, Pontypridd. The published schedule places both the parade and the service inside the park; the announcement does not give a town-centre street parade route.

Check the local arrangements before travelling

The council also says local organisations and town and community councils will hold acts of remembrance elsewhere across Rhondda Cynon Taf. This announcement confirms Pontypridd’s programme, rather than a complete county-wide timetable. No ticketing instructions, road closure timetable or detailed access arrangements are included in the release. Anyone needing those details should check the council’s current event information before making travel plans.
