Both finals will be shown live on S4C. Ticket details will be announced later, so the venue confirmation is not an announcement that seats are on sale. The two competitions are still in their early stages: the men’s cup has reached round three and the women’s cup is at round one.
Newport keeps the finals
The decision keeps the concluding matches in Newport after two contrasting finals last season. Caernarfon Town won the men’s trophy for the first time with a 3-0 victory over Flint Town United. Cardiff City won the women’s cup for a fifth successive season after recovering from 3-0 down against Swansea City. The teams finished level at 3-3 before Cardiff won on penalties.
FAW head of domestic leagues Jack Sharp said the ground had established itself as a home for the finals and that the association looked forward to returning in April. The finalists and ticket arrangements remain to be decided as this season’s competitions progress.
