TaithCymru tickets go on sale on 6 October for Bangor to Carmarthen coach
Tickets for the new TaithCymru coach between Bangor and Carmarthen will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 6 October, ahead of the first service on Sunday 25 October.

The service will run every day along the western side of Wales. Coaches will call at Bangor, Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Dolgellau, Machynlleth, Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and Carmarthen.
Journey expected to take under five hours
The Welsh Government expects a complete Bangor to Carmarthen journey to take between four hours 45 minutes and five hours. It says that will be more than an hour faster than existing public transport options on the corridor.
Fares have not been announced
Tickets will be sold through an online booking system being developed by Transport for Wales. The fare table and full booking details are still being finalised and are due to appear when the system opens on 6 October.
Eight coaches and £2 million for the first year
Eight new coaches have been bought for TaithCymru. The Welsh Government says £2 million has been allocated for the first year, covering operation, the booking system and promotion.
TaithCymru is intended to work alongside TrawsCymru, local buses and Fflecsi rather than replace them. A detailed timetable and connection guarantees were not included in the launch announcement, so passengers planning onward journeys should check those details when booking opens.
