Cardiff City, Newport County, Swansea City and Wrexham all play on Saturday, and only the 20:00 in Swansea is live on television

Cardiff City are at Fratton Park and Newport County at Sixfields Stadium, both at 15:00 BST on Saturday, both confirmed on the clubs' own pages and the BBC Sport list for 5 September. Swansea City host Wrexham at the Swansea.com Stadium at 20:00, the only all-Welsh fixture in the Championship this weekend. Sky Sports Football joins that game at 19:30 and Sky Sports Main Event at 19:45. Neither 15:00 kick-off is in Sky's live selections for the day or on the EFL's own list of upcoming live games.

What a Newport County ticket costs

Newport County say tickets remain available at newport-county.co.uk/news/next-northampton-town, with County supporters in the Persimmon Homes South Stand. Adults pay 26 pounds in advance or 28 on the day. Over-65s and under-21s pay 22 or 24. An under-18 is 14 pounds or 16, an under-14 10 or 12, and an under-7 free, though the free ticket comes from the ticket office rather than online and an under-14 must be with an adult. Newport County say the tickets are physical only, for postage or collection, and that proof of age may be asked for on a concession.

Buying for Fratton Park and Swansea

Portsmouth have the Cardiff City match on sale with six stand areas open, and all six are home areas. Neither club's site publishes an away price, so a Cardiff City supporter has to go through Cardiff City for the away allocation. Swansea City's home tickets for Wrexham have been on general sale since 10am on 11 August. On Wrexham's own ticket portal, checked on Thursday 3 September, the Swansea City game carries a prompt to check availability and no sold-out mark, unlike Wrexham v Burnley on 8 September on the same page, with the price and the allocation behind a login.

Where each club stands

Swansea City are top of the Championship on 10 points from four games, level with QPR and Charlton and ahead only on goal difference. Wrexham arrive 11th on five, ten places back in a 24-club division. Cardiff City are 19th on three points and Portsmouth 21st on the same three, which makes Fratton Park a meeting of two of the bottom six. Swansea City Women host Cardiff City Women at 5.15pm in the Genero Adran Premier opener, a south Wales derby at the club's new home, the ThermaGlaze Ground at Garden Village AFC, Stafford Common, Swansea SA4 3AB. Tickets are free if claimed in advance on the club's form, and applications close at 12pm on Saturday 5 September. Anyone who misses that pays 5 pounds on the gate, or 1 pound for an under-16, cash and card. Wrexham AFC Women play Aberystwyth Town Women at The Rock at 14:00. Glamorgan Women meet Middlesex Women at 10:30 in the Metro Bank One Day Cup at the Brunton Memorial Ground, Radlett. Glamorgan's men are at Somerset in Taunton until Saturday, and home to Warwickshire at Sophia Gardens from 8 September.
