Traffic Wales reported that the A470 was closed in both directions between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y-Coed after a collision on 11 September, with local diversions in place.

The traffic service published the closure at 17:31 on 11 September. The notice did not name the diversion roads or give a time for the route to reopen.
