People in Carmarthenshire have until 14 October 2026 to respond to a council survey on homelessness prevention and housing support. The consultation will inform the Homelessness and Housing Support Programme Strategy for 2027 to 2031, a four-year plan for services supporting people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Who can take part

The council wants views from residents, including people who have experienced homelessness or housing difficulties, as well as landlords, community groups, support providers and partner organisations. It is asking about current and future support needs, difficulties accessing help and opportunities to improve services.

How to respond

Complete the council’s online survey using the welcomesyourfeedback.net link below. The announcement gives 14 October as the deadline, without a closing time. The consultation is part of developing the strategy. Once approved, the plan will be submitted to the Welsh Government.
