David Davies and Mike Warburton were the last Welsh players standing at Challenge Tour 21 in Wigan, with both beaten in the last 32 on 26 September. Andy Hamilton defeated Davies 5–3, while Michael Flynn beat Warburton 5–1.

Davies takes the longer route

Burnett and Thomas reach the last 64
Richie Burnett beat Jack Vincent and Ellis Hadfield, both 5–2, before Jamie Hughes ended his run with a 5–0 win. Keenan Thomas defeated Joe Croft 5–3 before losing 5–2 to Archie Self. Self also knocked out Derek Coulson, who had won his opener against Matt Gallett 5–4.
