Derek Coulson beat Ryan Hawkes 5–1 in the last 64 of Challenge Tour 22 on Saturday, following another 5–1 victory over Dave Ian Wilson. He remained the only Welsh entrant without a recorded defeat in the PDC tournament record at the latest check.

Ewan Jones beat Martin Tonks 5–3 and Cayden Smith 5–1 before Joe Hunt ended his run with a 5–2 win. Declan Coles defeated Ultan McDyer 5–2 and William Leonard 5–4, then lost 5–1 to Derek Maclean.
