Cymru Under-19s begin Round 2 of qualifying for the 2026/27 UEFA European Under-19 Championship against Finland at Rodney Parade in Newport on Wednesday 11 November, kick-off 7pm. Jon Grey has named a 20-player squad for the group, which Cymru host.

The fixtures

After Finland, Cymru face Spain on Saturday 14 November at 12:30pm and Iceland on Tuesday 17 November at 12pm, both at Rodney Parade. Tickets are 3 pounds for adults and free for under-16s, and all six matches in the group are live on Cymru Football TV with commentary by Rob Phillips.

What is at stake

The top three in the group stay in League A for Round 3, which is drawn on 10 December and played next spring. The team that finishes fourth drops to League B.

The squad

Six players from the side that played in the 2025/26 finals in north Wales in June and July return: Noah Williams, Luis Gardner, Rob Tankiewicz, Shea Pita, Louie Bradbury and Will Grainger. Williams and Gardner captained the team in friendlies in September and October. Cardiff City provide Williams, Tankiewicz and Jack Sykes, and Swansea City provide Carter Heywood, Kaven Bloniarczyk and Milo Robinson.
