Glamorgan Women have qualified for the Women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup League Two final after persistent rain prevented any play in their semi-final against Kent at Sophia Gardens on Sunday 13 September.

Glamorgan finished second in the group stage and Kent third. Kent’s match report explains that the higher-placed side advances when the minimum playing requirement cannot be met. The qualification came through that rule, rather than a win on the field.

Play was abandoned after the 3pm outfield inspection. Glamorgan now head to the Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol for the final on Sunday 20 September.
