St Helen’s reopening begins with nine events before Ospreys return
St Helen’s will reopen through a phased programme of rugby in October, with nine fixtures and public events scheduled before the Ospreys play the club's first match at the redeveloped Swansea ground.

Gower College and Swansea University begin the programme on Wednesday 7 October. Swansea RFC then return for three Super Rygbi Cymru matches during a season marking 150 years since the club first made St Helen’s its home.
The Ospreys return on 24 October
The Ospreys' first competitive match at St Helen’s will be against the Dragons on Saturday 24 October at 7pm. Cardiff Rugby visit one week later on Saturday 31 October at 7.45pm.
The opening will build capacity in stages while remaining venue approvals and operational checks are completed. Swansea RFC's match against Cardiff RFC on Thursday 15 October is planned to draw the largest crowd before the Ospreys' opening night.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday
An initial allocation for Ospreys v Dragons and tickets for Swansea RFC's fixtures will go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 22 September. The Ospreys said further allocations may be released as operational milestones are completed.
More than matchdays
The programme also includes Dewar Shield fixtures, mixed-ability rugby, girls' rugby, walking rugby, community camps and events for season members and founders. Swansea School Boys, Gower College, Swansea University, Swansea RFC and the Ospreys are also due to train regularly at the ground from October.
The terrace roof will not be delivered in the first phase. The club said it is developing other fan activities before, during and after matches, while booking details for the pitch, clubhouse and hospitality areas will be announced later.
