Films and live music

Šejla Kamerić and Anri Sala made separate versions of 1395 Days Without Red from the same footage, using different editing and sound. UWTSD says this will be their first joint presentation since the 2012 premiere. Artist and composer Raheel Khan has created a version of his performance 0 in response to the films. Local brass musicians will perform it in the university’s Reading Room.

The launch

The performance starts at 4pm on Thursday 22 October. An opening celebration follows from 5pm to 7pm at Stiwdio Griffith, where the exhibition will be shown. The university’s announcement does not give regular visitor hours, admission charges or booking arrangements. Check its linked notice for further visitor information before travelling.
