Swansea City is urging supporters to allow extra travel time for Saturday’s home match against West Ham United, with heavy traffic expected around the Swansea.com Stadium. The 17 October match kicks off at 3pm and turnstiles open at 1pm. The club says road closures will start towards the final whistle and could remain in place longer than usual because of the expected traffic, delaying journeys away from the ground.

Shuttle routes and fares

The matchday shuttle has two routes. The city-centre service calls at Wellington Street, Quay Parade opposite Sainsbury’s and New Cut Road before finishing at Landore Park and Ride. The second route runs directly from Fabian Way Park and Ride to Landore. Both routes reverse for the journey back. Services to the stadium run during the two hours before kick-off, with the final return bus leaving Landore one hour after full-time. The club is trialling the service through the end of 2026. An adult return costs £5. Travel is free for under-18s, 2026/27 season-ticket holders, Jack Army members and seasonal hospitality guests. Eligible adults need the relevant card, membership or accreditation. Children aged 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The shuttle offers return journeys only. Its fare does not include parking at the site where a supporter leaves a car, so free bus eligibility does not mean free parking.

Parking and entry

The club lists limited stadium parking at £14 per vehicle, sold on a first-come basis. The car park closes approximately 15 minutes before kick-off; a space is not guaranteed. LCV parking on Normandy Road must be booked in advance. For entry, personal bags must be no larger than A4. One sealed transparent plastic water bottle of 500ml or less is allowed. Supporters needing a medical exemption from the food and drink restrictions are asked to contact accessibility@swanseacity.com in advance. The match will also include a minute’s silence to remember the Aberfan disaster. The current matchday guide and shuttle information are linked below for supporters checking their plans.
