The Party, the five-part drama filmed in Wales and starring Luke Evans and Tom Cullen, is now listed on ITVX. The streaming service’s official programme page provides the episode links and trailer. It is an adaptation of Elizabeth Day’s novel, written for television by Sarah Solemani. Evans plays journalist Martin Gilmour, whose long friendship with politician Ben Fitzmaurice, played by Cullen, is tested by secrets and ambition.

The Welsh production connection

ITV’s commissioning announcement records that filming began in Wales in October 2025. The production received Welsh Government support through Creative Wales. World Productions made the series in association with Evans’ Stoic Productions and ITV Studios. Evans is also an executive producer. Solemani appears in the drama as Martin’s wife Lucy, while Joanna Scanlan plays his mother Sylvia.
