Who can apply?

Applicants must be full-time or part-time students and meet at least one Welsh connection: being born in Wales, having a parent or grandparent born in Wales, having lived in Wales for at least five years, or studying at a Welsh establishment. The criteria are alternatives. A player does not need to satisfy all four connections, but student status is required.

Use the official application form

Wales Rugby League asks everyone seeking consideration to complete the form on its official invitation page, including players who have represented Wales before. The form includes the applicant’s school, college or university and primary and secondary playing positions. The current notice does not give an application closing date or a trial fee. Check the organiser’s page before travelling; applying is not confirmation of selection for Wales.
