Wales weather today: mostly dry and humid, with rain arriving this evening

Low cloud and hill fog lift through the morning to leave Wales mostly dry, the Met Office says, with the best of the sunshine in the southeast. Cloud thickens during the afternoon and patchy rain develops in the north. The air stays warm and humid.
Cardiff, Newport and Wrexham all reach 22C, and Swansea is a degree back at 21C. There are no Met Office warnings in force anywhere in Wales, and Natural Resources Wales has no flood warnings or alerts on its board.
Rain arrives from the northwest during the evening, some of it heavy. Friday starts wet before a fresher, breezier afternoon.
