Welsh voice actor Phil Rowe has won three prizes at the 2026 VOX Awards, including the male performance of the year honour. The organiser also names Jess Nesling as the female performance of the year winner and Nikki Mills as the audiobook winner. VOX’s event listing dates the ceremony to Saturday 10 October at the Drayton Manor Hotel, rather than today.

A Cymru Premier production

Rowe’s other wins were for a corporate production and the judges’ choice. Both recognised FA Cymru Premier – Concept Presentation, credited to producer CREO. The three prizes are separate awards; Rowe’s nomination for producer of the year was not another win. Rowe’s professional site identifies him as Welsh and says he records from a South Wales studio in both English and Welsh.

Swansea voice and a Pembrokeshire story

Nesling, who says she was born and raised in Swansea, works across games, animation and narration. Mills describes herself as originally from South Wales. Her audiobook award was for The Caldey Island Murders: A Pembrokeshire Murder Mystery. The organiser’s list distinguishes the overall performance honours from individual categories. Nesling appears among the gaming nominees, but the gaming category winner was Isabella Inchbald, not Nesling.
