Swansea stay perfect as Wrexham score seven

Swansea City Women came from behind to make it three wins from three in the Adran Premier, Wrexham AFC Women scored seven and Cardiff City Women collected the club's first points in Sunday’s Welsh top-flight programme.

Swansea answer Cardiff Met’s opener

Cardiff Metropolitan took the lead through Lily Moralee-Hughes after 12 minutes, but Swansea were level two minutes later when Charley May Prouse turned the ball into her own net.

Jess Williams headed Swansea in front six minutes into the second half from Lauren Davies’ free kick. Caitlin Seaborne then scored her first Swansea goal, heading in another Davies delivery to complete a 3-1 win.

Five after half-time at The Rock

Wrexham led Barry Town United 2-0 at the interval. Natasha Thomas powered through the Barry defence to open the scoring after 17 minutes, then Ava Suckley converted from a corner five minutes later.

Jenny Sugarman's side accelerated after the break. Katie Barker scored twice, with Lili Jones, Maria Francis-Jones and Evie Sadler also finding the net in a 7-0 win.

Cardiff answer an early setback

Cardiff's first win began with a response. Freya Peyton put Briton Ferry ahead after seven minutes, but Anna Houghton equalised from distance two minutes later. Shannon Evans then rounded the goalkeeper to send Cardiff into half-time in front.

Houghton added Cardiff's third after Gillian Keenan had struck the post. Maia Owen reduced the deficit for Briton Ferry, but Cardiff protected the one-goal advantage to win 3-2.
