No trains on the Conwy Valley line between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog

Transport for Wales has cancelled every train between Llandudno Junction and Blaenau Ffestiniog today, both ways, because of a shortage of train crew. The operator expects the disruption from 10:00 until the end of the day, and says it cannot run any Blaenau Ffestiniog services at all.

Replacement buses, provided by Carmel Travel, run between Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog at no extra cost. TfW warns that the road journey takes longer than the train, and that calling points are on station posters and on its station pages. At 03:40 this was the only live update on the TfW service status board.

Anyone who arrives more than 15 minutes late can claim Delay Repay. Unused tickets can be refunded fee-free from the place of purchase.
