Davies and Forde turn it around

Callum West put Nomads ahead with an eighth-minute penalty. Davies levelled in the 53rd minute, firing into the far top corner from a tight angle, before Forde scored from close range following a corner. Bay’s official report described the result as their first Cymru Premier win over Nomads.

TNS make it seven in a row

The New Saints won 2-0 at Airbus UK Broughton on Friday 11 September. Dan Williams opened the scoring in the 30th minute and Rory Holden added the second nine minutes later. The club’s report confirmed a seventh consecutive league victory. TNS next host Flint Town United at Park Hall on 15 September at 19:45 BST.

Noah Daley opens his Barry account

Daley supplied a notable individual performance in Barry’s 4-1 win over Llandudno at Jenner Park. His 14th-minute goal was his first for the club since joining from Penybont in August. He later rounded the goalkeeper, only for a defender to clear his shot off the line.

Elliott Dugan’s early penalty had put Barry ahead. Daniel Barton added the third after the interval and Ellis Williams scored in added time, with Llandudno replying through a penalty.

Elsewhere on Friday

Caernarfon Town won 5-0 at Ammanford, Haverfordwest County beat Briton Ferry Llansawel 3-1 and Cambrian United defeated Holywell Town 2-1. Penybont won 1-0 at Trefelin, while Flint Town United and Cardiff Met drew 1-1.
