What can the grant support?

Projects can offer digital skills training, help people who struggle to access technology, or improve an existing community programme. Applicants must explain the proposed activity, its likely impact, how it will be delivered, value for money and the expected results. The awards are for organisations delivering projects, rather than personal payments to residents.

Where to apply

The application form is linked from Neath Port Talbot Council’s announcement below. It asks organisations to explain how their proposal will deliver, improve or support digital inclusion locally. ITS Technology Group is providing the funding through social-value commitments attached to the Swansea Bay City Deal Digital Infrastructure Programme. Carmarthenshire is outside this round because it has already benefited from other ITS social-value initiatives, according to the council.
