Bookable buses to replace B36 as Dyfi Valley service expands

The B36 bus route is to be replaced by a bookable fflecsi service in October, as Transport for Wales expands its Machynlleth network into more of the Dyfi Valley. An extra vehicle will join the service. TfW has announced the month, but its release does not give an exact start date.
Where it will run
The expansion covers Llanwrin, Glantwymyn, Cemmaes, Aberangell, Mallwyd and Dinas Mawddwy, alongside Aberhosan, Tal-y-wern, Darowen and Abercegir. Connections to the TrawsCymru T2 and T28 will provide onward travel towards Aberystwyth and Bangor.
How to book and get help
Trips can be booked through the fflecsi app or by calling 0300 234 0300, either in advance or on the day, subject to availability. The service runs six days a week. Unlike a fixed timetable, buses are routed around passenger bookings within the service area.
Residents can ask about the change at Machynlleth Market on Wednesday 30 September, from 9.30am to 3pm. Representatives from TfW, Lloyds Coaches and the two councils will explain booking. The announcement does not specify fares or the detailed operating hours for the expanded service.
