Police are asking anyone with photographs, video or dashcam footage from around Flint Castle between 6pm and 9.30pm on Monday 14 September to come forward following a man’s death.

The dates police are examining

North Wales Police says the man is believed to have entered the water near the castle that evening. He was found unresponsive on the tidal side of the wall at West Kirby Marine Lake in Merseyside on Wednesday 16 September and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The force says CCTV enquiries show people walking, cycling and driving around the castle during the period covered by the appeal. Detectives want to hear from anyone with information or images that could help the investigation.
