Three competitions, six wins

In the Youth Alliance League, Wrexham beat Morecambe 7-0, Lincoln City 3-1 and Notts County 4-2. Craig Knight’s side then beat Mansfield Town 4-1 in the PDL Cup, followed by the Salford victory and a 3-2 Youth Alliance Cup win at Blackpool. Adding the six published scorelines gives 29 goals for and six against. The goals-conceded total is Cover’s calculation from the club’s results, rather than a separate statistics feed.

The Preston defeat sits outside that run

The same review says Knight’s group ended the month with a 2-1 defeat at Preston North End in its opening Central League game. The six-match winning sequence is therefore not a claim that every academy fixture in September was won. Wrexham also reports international selections across its Under-18 and Under-17 age groups.

  1. How does it compare?

    • The six listed wins total 29 goals scored and six conceded; arithmetic from club scorelines only.

    • The later 2-1 Central League defeat is outside those six wins, so an unbeaten-whole-month claim would mislead.
