Wrexham cannot add extra accessible Macron Stand entrance this season

Newly published supporter minutes say the current stadium layout prevents a second designated entrance in 2026/27. The club says the proposal remains part of future accessibility planning.

Wrexham AFC says an additional accessible entrance for disabled supporters using the Macron Stand cannot be introduced within the current stadium configuration for the 2026/27 season. The position appears in the club’s Fan Advisory Board summary published on 20 October, covering meetings held on 10 and 29 September. There is currently one designated entrance for the stand, according to the document.

Why the request remains open

The Wrexham Disabled Supporters Association asked whether access from both ends of the stand could reduce the distance supporters need to travel between the entrance and their seats. The club recognises that benefit but says changes must be assessed against safety arrangements, supporter movement, emergency evacuation routes and permitted capacity. The proposal has not been permanently ruled out and remains part of future accessibility and stadium planning discussions. No delivery date is given.

Wheelchair platform rotation continues

A rotation system for access to the Macron Stand wheelchair platform, introduced during 2025/26, will continue in 2026/27. The minutes describe the aim as giving supporters a fairer opportunity to use the platform. The club and board also agreed to hold a dedicated discussion on ticketing and stadium access. Drop-in help with digital tickets and a matchday Fan Support Team form part of the support described in the summary.

Memorial fixture supported

The club has backed the return of a fixture remembering supporters who died during the previous year and says it will work with representatives on a January tribute. An exact fixture and arrangements are not specified in the summary.
