Thomas and Barker set Wrexham scoring mark in perfect league start
Natasha Thomas and Katie Barker have become Wrexham’s first players to score in each of the opening four matches of an Adran Premier season, according to the club’s statistical review. Their run accompanied four straight league wins, Wrexham’s first such start in the top division. Both scored hat-tricks in Sunday’s 8–1 victory at Briton Ferry.

A scoring mark with a longer history
Thomas also matched Jodie Richards’ 2018 club record by scoring in her first four league appearances for Wrexham. Barker’s third goal at Briton Ferry took her to 50 goal involvements for the club. Those are different milestones: one measures a scoring start, the other combines goals and assists.
Knox supplies the chances
Faye Knox contributed three assists at Briton Ferry. The club records five league assists in just 87 minutes on the pitch this season. That is a striking early contribution, but a small sample. It describes what Knox has produced so far, rather than a rate she can be expected to sustain.
