Evening disruption forecast

TfW expects the incident to last until 7pm and says disruption to services is expected between 3.45pm and 8pm. Those are forecasts in the operator’s notice, rather than confirmed repair or reopening times. Its explanation says trains are running more slowly through the area for safety, with residual delays of around 20 minutes. That description sits alongside the wider warning that individual services may be delayed by up to an hour.

Check the train you intend to use

The notice says Network Rail and Amey Infrastructure technicians are on their way to the affected area. It does not confirm that repairs have been completed. TfW directs passengers to its service-status page and live map for current journeys. This Miskin notice does not announce a specific replacement-bus arrangement or ticket acceptance on another route. Advice attached to other incidents should not be assumed to apply to this fault.
