Class 398 disruption extended between Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay
Disruption between Pontypridd and Cardiff Bay is now expected to continue until 23:59 on Saturday 26 September, Transport for Wales says. The operator reports that its Class 398 fleet is unavailable for service because more trains than usual need repairs at the same time.

How journeys are changing
Passengers travelling from stations between Pontypridd and Cathays should change at Cardiff Queen Street for Cardiff Bay services. Transport for Wales advises passengers to check the live service map before leaving.
Bus tickets accepted
Rail tickets are being accepted at no extra cost on Cardiff Bus routes 13, 24, 25 and 52 and Stagecoach route 132 until the end of Saturday. Pay-as-you-go rail fares cannot be used on the buses, so those passengers should tap out at the earliest opportunity.
Refunds and compensation
Passengers delayed by more than 15 minutes may be eligible for Delay Repay compensation. Anyone who decides not to travel can apply for a fee-free refund on an unused ticket.
