TfW residual delays on Llandudno Junction to Holyhead after a Rhosneigr incident, until mid-afternoon
This notice has ended. It was last checked on Sun 6 Sept, 01:34 and is kept for the record.

Transport for Wales says services between Llandudno Junction and Holyhead are disrupted in both directions after an operational incident at Rhosneigr. TfW says the problem has now been rectified and services are now able to run. Residual delays and cancellations can be expected until 15:00. TfW had expected the incident itself until 13:15. Those times are TfW's estimate, not a promised clear.
What to do
Check your own train with TfW before you leave. Avanti West Coast are also affected by this incident. If one of TfW's trains is delayed or cancelled and you arrive at your destination more than 15 minutes later than scheduled, you can claim through Delay Repay, the industry compensation scheme. If you decide not to travel because of this disruption and the ticket is unused, TfW says you can get a fee-free refund from wherever you bought it.
