Swansea to Carmarthen trains face cancellations after signalling fault

Trains between Swansea and Carmarthen may be cancelled or delayed by up to 30 minutes in both directions after a signalling fault on Friday morning, Transport for Wales says.
Fault between Swansea and Llanelli
TfW says the signalling problem is between Swansea and Llanelli. Fewer trains can run through the area until the system is working normally. Network Rail is aware and technicians are travelling to the affected equipment.
Disruption may continue until noon
TfW expects the incident itself to last until 10am, with disruption possible from 5.23am until noon. Those times are estimates rather than confirmed restoration times, so passengers should check live departures before travelling.
Refunds and Delay Repay
Passengers who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be able to claim Delay Repay. TfW also says passengers who decide not to travel because of the disruption can obtain a fee-free refund for an unused ticket from the seller.
