Tickets are available for the Festival of Remembrance at Y Muni in Pontypridd on Sunday 1 November. The concert starts at 6.30pm, with doors opening at 6pm, and standard tickets cost £10.

Who is performing

Y Pant School Choir, Taff Ely Ladies Choir, Tylorstown Band and soloist Heather Jones are on the programme announced by Rhondda Cynon Taf Council. Royal British Legion standard bearers will take part, with the evening including a remembrance service and a poppy drop inside the venue.

Booking and travel

The concert is presented by the council and the Royal British Legion. Awen Box Office lists it as suitable for all ages, with a scheduled finish of 8.30pm. Tickets can be booked through Awen’s event page or by calling 03300 554488. The council says parking will be free in its Pontypridd car parks on the day; that does not extend the offer to privately operated car parks.
